Dialysis treatment is also known as blood purification which includes hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis,and 60% of patients can choose the ways of dialysis automatically. For the patients who have abdominal infection,abdominal tumors and abdominal adhesions,it is improper for them to be on peritoneal dialysis. It is also true for the PKD patients and the patients whose 2/3 abdomen is suffered with some disease. For the patients who have severe cardiovascular dysfunction such as cerebral hemorrhage,serious heart attacks,as the great variation of hemodynamics,or the blocked vascular access,or the too low blood pressure and so on,those factors decide that they do not fit hemodialysis.

To improve the life quality of dialysis patients in clinical,one of the important points is to prevent the complications. There are many complications of dialysis such as dialysis disequilibrium syndrome in the first time of dialysis,and infection,blood loss,low blood pressure,high blood pressure or heart failure because of dialysis.

During the dialysis,one of the complications of dialysis is secondary hyperparathyrodism that requires attention. The imbalance of calcium and phosphate can be easily encountered,so secondary hyperparathyrodism is commonly seen during dialysis.

The disadvantages of secondary hyperparathyrodism is various. For example,it may lead to cardiovascular problems and vascular calcification;high phosphate will stimulate nerves and cause itching skin; it can also bring about a series of renal diseases such as decreased bone density,fracture and even osteitis fibrosa. Besides secondary hyperparathyodism can also affect patients’ ability to work and normal life greatly,which is one of the complications of dialysis that seriously affect life quality of dialysis patients.
